Like the NX1, it is equipped with a unique 28MP BSI APS-C sensor with high resolution, best-in-class processor DRIMeV, super fast by the NX AF III system, function Samsung Auto Shot and also allows you to record video in the highest quality commonly available 4K a UHD. Updated connectivity via Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi provides users with an advanced wireless experience, as well as the ability to seamlessly capture and share their experiences in superior quality. All this in a compact and portable body.

Top image quality: 28MP images and 4K videos
The NX500 guarantees excellent image quality and vivid photos, regardless of the conditions or the subject of photography. Thanks to ultra-high resolution 28MP Back Side Illumination APS-C sensors the NX500 captures a perfect shot even in low light. The BSI APS-C sensor, which is the largest BSI sensor available on the market to date, also enables video recording in resolution 4K and UHD. It thus provides more flexibility when shooting movies.
Built-in HEVC codec, the most advanced compression technology available, brings efficiency to video storage. This is because it compresses high-quality videos to half the size at the data stream of the H.264 standard. In addition, still images taken in interval shooting mode can be easily converted to time-lapse UHD video directly in the camera so that there is no need to play the images to the computer.

Unbeatably fast reactions
The NX500 is equipped with a processor DRIMeV, which is much faster than its predecessor. It ensures excellent color reproduction, better noise reduction and higher image quality. Combined with the innovative 28MP BSI sensor and hybrid AF system, users can capture even the most fleeting moment by simply focusing and pressing the shutter button. In addition, continuous shooting at a speed of 9 frames/s gives users the opportunity to easily follow and capture the action in progress. The function also helps with this Samsung Auto Shot (SAS), which uses motion detection to accurately predict and then capture the best moment for the perfect shot in difficult situations.
Ergonomic design and functional connectivity
The palm-sized ergonomic design of the NX500 allows users to carry the camera comfortably and at the same time safely in all circumstances. Thanks to the fully tiltable and touch-sensitive SuperAMOLED display with a very sharp display, users can easily make the perfect one Selfie. The new Samsung NX500 camera will be available worldwide from March 2015 in black, white and brown. The price was tentatively set at €693 / CZK 19 including VAT
