Some time ago, we could hear that Samsung is working on a completely new form of TouchWiz, which should be as smooth as it is clean Android 5.0 on the Nexus 6. Part of this big change is also the fact that Samsung will remove a number of its applications from TouchWiz, which many users accepted, as some applications just took up space unnecessarily and almost no one used them in practice. Samsung is therefore putting its applications on the back burner and preferring native applications from Google and even Microsoft. Probably as part of an out-of-court settlement by which the pair decided to end their patent dispute.
According to sources, we can in the new Galaxy S6 expect applications such as Microsoft OneNote, OneDrive, Office Mobile (with free subscription!) and Skype as a replacement for ChatON. On the contrary, it is possible that applications such as S Voice, S Health, S Note and Scrapbook will be downloaded from the mobile and users will be able to download them from the store Galaxy Apps only if they want them. The question remains whether Samsung will continue to provide Dropbox with a free bonus or give way to OneDrive.
