Galaxy S6Some time ago it became public informace about Samsung taking a cue from its apple competitor and in its own Galaxy The S6, which will be presented at its UNPACKED event in just 6 days, will use a new fingerprint sensor, very similar in function to Touch ID, which we know from iPhone. Compared to the original sensor that debuted on Galaxy S5, the new one will not require the user to "swipe" for recording fingerprints, i.e. swipe the finger over the sensor, but only touch it, which is ultimately much more reliable and more practical on devices with large displays.

In addition, the new sensor will be slightly larger, which will also result in a larger and more prominent home button, which we could also notice in leaked photos and some renders. The South Korean manufacturer is likely to do so for one reason, and that is because of its new payment system Samsung Pay. The sensor should be significantly connected with this and the use of a higher quality touch sensor seems much better compared to the swipe used so far. However, the question remains how the use of this sensor will affect the price Galaxy S6, the production of new sensors is somewhat more expensive.
