music AndroidIt has undoubtedly happened to most of us that we wanted to listen to new MP3s after downloading music to our smartphone, but somehow it was not possible because they simply did not appear in the player. Music players designed for the operating system Android (regardless of the version) have had one fundamental problem for several years, when if the music is not tagged (i.e. it is not assigned properties in the MP3 file, such as artist, year of publication, etc.), it is not possible for the user until tagging available. This is done automatically, but together with updating the player's library, it takes some time and is of course not ideal, especially if we want to enjoy the (obviously legally) downloaded songs immediately.

So how do you get the music to display immediately, or at least in the shortest possible time? We decided to write down 5 ways for you to solve this rather common problem and enjoy your music as soon as possible from the moment the "100% downloaded" message lights up in the notification bar.

// < ![CDATA[ //1) Restart the phone

Probably the fastest solution of all. After downloading and possibly extracting from the archive, just restart the smartphone and the music should finally be displayed in the player, as its library is immediately updated after the reboot. Please note, however, that although this option works in most cases, we do not guarantee 100% success, because it may happen that even after the thirteenth restart, the player will not perceive the newly downloaded MP3.

2) Move from SD card to internal memory

If you save your music on an SD card and it doesn't appear in the player, the problem is most likely in the place where you saved it. Some smartphones, namely the GT-I8190, have a bug in the firmware, due to which the files on the SD card are not perceived as they should be. If you manage to start a song on the SD card "manually" by browsing through the folders, the player will play it, but you can forget about automatic switching. The solution can therefore be to move the music to the phone's internal memory, which can be achieved using various methods file managers, whether integrated or downloaded from Google Play.

3) Google Play Music

In addition to buying music, the Google Play Music service also offers the possibility to play music from your own library, which can be stored in the standard tariff up to 50 songs, which will be available to the user on every device where this Google service is installed. How to achieve? Just open the app or web version Google Play Music, log in with your Google account, choose a tariff (standard = free, full = CZK 149 per month) and just add music.

4) Tagging on the phone

You can also speed up the automatic tagging process by using various applications that let you tag your MP3 files manually. For all of them we can name, for example, very popular Itagui, which is completely free and offers practically everything you need. Although in most cases it is sufficient to enter only the artist and the album among the properties, this method is rather time-consuming, especially in cases where you download the complete discography of a forty-year-old heavy metal band to your smartphone and then you have to tag each individual song yourself. However, it is good to always have an application like iTag at hand, because tagging as such can be used in several ways, especially when the music is tagged incorrectly and is classified as "UNKNOWN" or one album is divided into several.

5) Tagging in PC

If you're moving music from your PC to your smartphone, PC tagging seems like a faster version of the previous method. On the operating system Windows namely, there is no need to download any applications for MP3 tagging, itself Windows After clicking on the MP3 file, Explorer will offer to edit the attributes in the lower part of the window, or you can also click on Properties -> Details, where you only need to overwrite the empty or incorrectly filled fields and the MP3 tagged to the management is ready for listening on your smartphone .
