If you use the Spotify streaming service on your smartphone, this article is for you. You've probably already noticed that Spotify (at least in the Czech localization) still lacks the creations of a lot of artists, namely the legendary AC/DC. However, if you prefer Spotify over other streaming services, but still want to listen to the missing artists, it seems like an ideal option to use the "Local Files" function on the desktop version to import mp3/mp4/m4a files of the selected artist into your Spotify.
After that, all you have to do is synchronize your smartphone with the desktop version of the service using the "SYNC" button, and songs from Local Files will start downloading to your device. This allows the user to listen to them subsequently on a smartphone, even without the need to be online. But by default, Spotify downloads songs to the device's internal memory, which in many cases can cause storage capacity problems. So how do you force Spotify to import songs straight to the SD card (assuming you have one, of course) and not the internal storage?
