Samsung logoAnother key figure left American Samsung today. Samsung USA marketing director Todd Pendleton, famous for the controversial The Next Big Thing ad campaign that attacked Samsung's Apple shortly after the death of Steve Jobs in 2011. The advertising campaign at that time started really controversially, mocking the long lines of people in front of stores Apple Store, where, among other things, some were (and are) willing to camp even two weeks before the newest product goes on sale iPhone.

However, it wasn't just Samsung that made fun of this behavior (although it started) and later others joined it, and even in Grand Theft Auto V you can find information in the news that a certain person who started camping in front of a store three months before the launch of a new mobile phone died to the illness he contracted from this temporary homelessness. Samsung later slowed down and took the advertising campaign less aggressively. So, in the end, it seems that future Samsung USA ads aimed at Apple may be different.
