Galaxy S6Samsung Galaxy S6 to Galaxy G6 edge compared to last year Galaxy The S5 differs in a huge number of aspects, one of which is the fingerprint sensor. As for it, Samsung took inspiration from its competitor this year Apple and decided to use a sensor based on touch technology, which is supposed to be much more reliable and of better quality than its predecessor, which scanned fingerprints by swiping a finger over the sensor, not just by touching it, as is the case now.

This appears to be a huge advantage, because as already mentioned, the older scanner used on Galaxy S5 other models from this series often made errors during scanning, and unlocking the phone or confirming payment on PayPal thus became a matter for a rather long time. Samsung presented the new sensor at its UNPACKED event as a better and, above all, faster solution, but how is it really and how is the "new" fingerprint scanning on Galaxy Does the S6 actually work?

The foreign portal SamMobile decided to take a look at this. And what did he come up with? When registering your fingerprints for the first time, you usually need to cover the HOME button with your finger several times. Once the fingerprints have been registered, it is possible to unlock the smartphone thanks to them, and as you can see in the video below, the scan and subsequent unlocking of the device does not take even a second of time. With this result, we can safely say that Galaxy The S6 is much better than its predecessor, at least when it comes to fingerprint scanning.
