Galaxy S6 batterySamsung Galaxy Compared to its predecessors, the S6 is unique in many aspects. One of them is the metal structure, which we have heard about since time immemorial Galaxy S4, but Samsung implemented it until this year's flagship. However, there is one "problem" associated with the metal construction, which is additionally enriched with a glass surface of the device, and that is the unibody, i.e. the non-replaceable battery, which was one of the main advantages of Samsung smartphones compared to the competition last year.

While previously it was enough to replace the battery, or to remove the original one, just remove the back cover, u Galaxy The S6 is somewhat different. If you have a problem getting by with a battery with a capacity of 2550 mAh (2600 u Galaxy S6 edge) or if you encounter some other reason to remove the original battery, you will have really long moments spent (dis)assembling the device itself.

Although it is Samsung Galaxy S6 i Galaxy S6 edge unibody, the battery can be accessed in other ways than using a hammer. And even in the official way, because Samsung included instructions on the "way to the battery" in the user manual of the device. So how will users be able to achieve this? In the first, it will be necessary to unscrew the screws on the back of the device that hold the cover together with the phone. Then there are the screws around the perimeter of the device, after unscrewing which you can get almost to the battery itself, but there is still a circular cover just above the battery in the way, the screws of which also need to be removed.

Only after completing all the above steps can the battery be removed, but let's face it, this whole process is probably not the most ideal solution to prevent a dead battery. Moreover, with options that Galaxy S6 offers in terms of charging and battery life, battery replacement will probably only be necessary if it turns out to be defective. In any case, Samsung warns that the instructions are intended only for authorized services and, of course, for repairers in complaint centers, if you follow them and disassemble your new Galaxy S6, you'll probably just end up with a voided warranty.
