Android music playerListening to music is undoubtedly one of the most used functions on modern smartphones. They are slowly but surely displacing classic MP3 players, which is also helped by the fact that music player applications are an inseparable part of the operating system Android and most, if not all, of others. Anyway, the pre-installed music players may not suit everyone, and that's when the Google Play store comes into play, where you can download lots of other players.

But as mentioned before, there are quite a few to find on Google Play and choosing the coolest, best and most awesome can take a lot of time. That's why below you will find a selection of three of the best music player apps for Android available and with them a brief description of what they can brag about.

1) DoubleTwist

With a visible foundation in iTunes, DoubleTwist is the perfect choice for anyone who cares not only about features, but also about design your music player, which means that DoubleTwist will definitely not offend its users. In addition to the classic options offered by almost every player (ie playing music, for example), DoubleTwist also offers the option of syncing with iTunes. It's completely free to download, but if you don't have a problem pulling out a few crowns from your wallet, you'll also get conveniences like AirSync, an equalizer, a "What's Next" list, and support for a much larger number of audio formats.

2) Poweramp

While the previous DoubleTwist is unique in terms of design, PowerAMP is focused on function. You will find here almost all that you can think of in connection with music and many more. Besides having a hard time looking for a format that PowerAMP doesn't natively support, you can also play with the audio itself during playback, choose gapless playback, display lyrics, crossfade and much (really much) more. The only drawback is that the PowerAMP trial is free only for the first 15 days, and for its further use you need to pay CZK 50 for the full application. But considering that you will most likely fall in love with it during the free 15 days, there is nothing to worry about.

3) Google Play Music

(Not only) a player directly from Google, which does not amaze with a billion functions like PowerAMP or an amazing design like DoubleTwist, but offers something completely different, also absolutely great. The Google Play Music application is synchronized with the Google Play Music service, in whose cloud storage you can save up to 50 songs, which you can then play practically anywhere – on a phone, tablet or computer. In addition, it can be synchronized with iOS. And to top it off, if you don't know what album to play from the selected artist, just press the "Quick Mix" button and Google Play Music will do all the work for you. At the same time, it should be mentioned that the use of Google Play Music is in all respects completely free and as it is written a few lines above, this is a focused application directly from Google, so there is probably no point in doubting its quality.
