Samsung smartphonesOver the past few months, we have been able to get a glimpse of the direction Samsung's strategy is heading, and it must be said that the production of metal devices is one of the best ideas that the engineers of the South Korean giant have received in the past few months. The issue of metal devices with the Samsung brand has been talked about for several years, already in the past Galaxy S4, the internet was full of speculation that Samsung was planning to release a metal premium variant of the then flagship.

The company resorted to issuing metal smartphones, or rather smartphones made of premium materials, only at the beginning of fall/autumn 2014. This saw the light of day with an aluminum phone called Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which (not only) won over many fans of the competition with its design iPhone. It was the release of this smartphone that was one of the main impulses that convinced Samsung that metal would probably be a better path to success than plastic, and in November/November the South Korean giant released Galaxy Note 4, which for the first time in history could boast of a metal frame.

Not long after that came a whole series of aluminum smartphones, namely Galaxy A. It consists of three, again all-aluminum smartphones, which are named as Galaxy A3, A5 and A7, whereas Galaxy A3 can be described as a low mid-range smartphone, Galaxy A7 is the Ferrari of the entire series and also offers a 64-bit octa-core processor.

// < ![CDATA[ //A few months after the release of this series, on March 1, 2015, the main article of all metal smartphones from Samsung was introduced, the flagship Galaxy S6 and its special variant with a curved display – Galaxy S6 edge. Both smartphones, in addition to a lot of innovations, come with a design that consists of an ingenious combination of metal and glass, and when Samsung already implements premium materials like this in its flagship, it means something.

It marks a turning point in the entire series Galaxy S, which until 2015 was exclusively plastic. After Galaxy The S5 simply had to come with a more significant change that should bring the company back to the top after the collapse of Samsung at the end of 2014, at least in the same style as it was with the groundbreaking Galaxy S III in 2012. But now there is a question - does Samsung want to stick with metal and do away with plastic for good? As it turned out recently, it clearly wouldn't hurt the company, and according to the co-CEO of Samsung Electronics Shin Jong Kuyn, it seems that the company sees the future in premium materials, which could result in the end of the production of plastic devices, or at least its considerable limitations.

In addition, Shin's words could also mean that the high-end series Galaxy U also comes in metal. Its production was suspended last year for unspecified reasons, but Samsung is expected to introduce and release it not long after its release Galaxy S6, which will take place around mid-April. Just a new series Galaxy At the same time, U could be a direct indicator of whether Samsung wants to abandon plastic smartphones in the future, but let's not be surprised, at least the words of Shin Jong Kyun indicate that a change awaits us, and that's for sure.
