It has been speculated for some time that Samsung is preparing a new line of its tablets and according to the latest information, the speculations are proving to be true. The South Korean giant officially announced the arrival of the series on its press release in Russia Galaxy Tab A. For now, it will consist of two models, namely Galaxy Tab A a Galaxy Tab A Plus, while the two will primarily differ from each other in size. The first named should have a diagonal of 8″, the second then exactly 9.7″. What is special about both tablets is their aspect ratio of 4:3, which unlike Samsung is known for Apple iPad. The thickness of both tablets can then be compared with the iPad, which is exactly 7.5 mm.
Samsung Galaxy The Tab A will be equipped with the already mentioned 8″ display with a resolution of 1024x768, a Snapdragon 410 processor, a 5MPx rear camera, a 2MPx front camera, 16GB of internal storage and a battery with a capacity of 4200 mAh, which, according to Samsung, should last a full 10 hours of use. 9.7″ Galaxy The Tab A Plus should then differ only in the number of speakers, which are two in total for the larger of the new products. As for the software, the photos below show that both tablets are equipped with the latest version of TouchWiz, which, unlike its predecessors, is much better optimized with significantly fewer pre-installed applications.
Both two tablets will come to the market in Wi-Fi and LTE variants in a special blue and gold color design, while their price should be around 300 Euros (around 8200 CZK) per piece. There should be a queue for Russian stores Galaxy The Tab A will be available next month, but it is not yet clear how Samsung will solve it with their availability in other parts of the world, so the possible release date in the Czech Republic/SR is not known.
