Samsung ExynosAs many have surely noticed, Samsung almost always released its previous flagships in two different variants. The first of them was exclusive only to selected countries and had a built-in Exynos processor directly from the South Korean manufacturer, while the second variant was intended for the global market and housed a processor mostly made by Qualcomm. With the arrival of a new generation in the form of Galaxy But changes came to the S6, changes which, among other things, caused Samsung to launch its new Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge is released globally only in the Exynos variant, because the current Snapdragon 810 series is, as Samsung put it, "useless".

But the changes obviously do not end in this direction. As it seems, the South Korean giant will already use its own improved cores called "Mongoose" in the next generation of Exynos processors, naturally instead of the current ARM Cortex-A72. The Mongoose will have a clock speed of 2.3 GHz, and in the single-core benchmark from Geekbench, with its roughly 2200 points, it surpassed even the current Exynos 45 by a full 7420%, which is located in Galaxy S6 and in recent tests clearly surpassed (if not even ridiculed) all his competitors.

Finally, it would be good to point out the fact that Samsung somewhat mocks Qualcomm with its Mongoose cores, at least in terms of naming. While Qualcomm calls its own cores as "Krait", which translates to python (a highly poisonous Asian snake), Mongoose translates to "mongoose", i.e. an animal known for its fondness for hunting snakes, even poisonous ones. such as a python.
