Bratislava, April 7, 2015 – A range of premium televisions with the most modern display technology is coming to Slovak stores. Thanks to a new method of backlighting and nano crystal color technology, Samsung SUHD TVs achieve unprecedented colors and contrast, which is up to 10 times higher than other current technologies. Customers who purchase the new product from April 10 to 12 will also receive a bonus in the form of UHD videopack, an external hard drive with content in unique UHD quality worth 249 €. For the same period, Samsung prepared a contest for customers to win valuable prizes, including a SUHD TV.
The UHD videopack, which can be obtained free of charge by customers who purchase SUHD TV between April 10 and 12, includes, among other things, American films with Czech subtitles Forest Gump, Star Trek, GI Joe Retaliation and others.
Big competition for SUHD TV
For the period from April 10 to 12, Samsung has prepared a great deal for customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia competition for a SUHD UE55JS8502 TV worth €3. Interested parties will visit 19 educational zones in selected 3 stores, get 3 stamps on a game card and answer 2 knowledge questions. The winner will be the one who answers correctly, or is closest to the correct answer. In the case of several correct answers, the time when the completed card was received will decide. The second prize is the HW-J7501 curved soundbar and the third winner will receive a Multiroom M7 audio device. Prizes for the competition are common for the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The function for content remastering in Samsung SUHD TV converts all images to UHD resolution and at the same time improves color rendering, so that the full potential of the TV is used. In addition, it automatically analyzes the brightness of the image to avoid additional energy consumption. The resulting image offers much richer shadows, while the bright parts of the image are 2,5 times brighter than on conventional products. In addition, SUHD TVs use environmentally friendly technology, which ensures first-class economy and reliability.

Smart TV functions are designed to fully suit the current lifestyle, the trend of which is, among other things, connecting the TV with various types of mobile devices and sharing content with each other. Thanks to the Tizen operating system, SUHD TV is open to new possibilities that future technical developments will bring. It is simply possible to watch videos on the TV screen or TV shows on the phone. Quick Connect automatically recognizes smartphones paired via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology. To watch videos from your phone, you only need to press a single button. At the same time, it is possible to watch TV programs on the phone without any additional application or complex settings.
