Galaxy FootnotesIt has not been long since Samsung officially announced that this year it plans to bring to the market Ultra HD displays with a resolution of 2160×3840 pixels, which will not only have such a high resolution, but will also be able to boast a record pixel density. Samsung wants to achieve this by using so-called diamond pixels, i.e. pixels shaped like rhombuses, thanks to which users will not be able to distinguish the individual pixels on these displays with the naked eye.

However, according to the latest reports, it seems that Samsung could use its UHD display already in the upcoming one Galaxy Note 5, which should be introduced at the beginning of the third quarter of this year. The actual production of UHD panels is supposed to start during August/August and if Samsung wants the fifth generation of the series Galaxy Note to be presented in September/September at IFA 2015, the use of a UHD display would be highly probable. Panel used for Galaxy According to current speculation, the Note 5 should have a diagonal of exactly 5.89″ with a pixel density of 748 ppi, the curved edge variant of the future flagship tablet should boast a 5.78″ UHD display with 762 ppi.
