Galaxy_Launcher_TouchWiz_iconAbout a year ago, screenshots were leaked that indicated how Samsung's new redesigned TouchWiz should look in future smartphones. According to the photos, it is clear that the environment was supposed to look completely different from what we know today, even if we expected that it was the work of some designer and not directly the work of Samsung. When Samsung brought its latest flagship Galaxy S6 to Galaxy S6 edge, it was clear that they weren't going to make any radical changes to their software interface, at least not yet.

Designer Gerald Mark Soto, who claimed to have been experimenting with the UI/UX environment with Samsung and their development team "to explore new ways of interactively working with the phone", captured this work on video. The first video, lasting about a minute, shows us very nice animations and icons in pastel colors. In the second short video we see various interactions of the software.

If these leaked screenshots are not fiction, but are based on reality, then today it is already certain that Samsung did not decide to go the way of redesigning the user interface, but rather focused on at least one step ahead of the competition in hardware equipment.
