Galaxy Tab A is headed for the Czech market and we know its price

Prague, April 13, 2015 – New range of Samsung tablets GALAXY Tab A continues the successful series GALAXY The Tab 4 and its users bring everything essential for work and play. It comes with many improvements, including a more powerful processor, new aspect ratio 4:3 or a thinner and lighter body with a soft and pleasant texture. Users will appreciate wide compatibility and the ability to easily share content across different devices.

Samsung Tab A s 9,7 inch display will be available on the Czech market in two versions: without S-pen in black or white version and WiFi or LTE + WiFi variants; or with the S-pen smart pen facilitating work with documents and taking notes in black and white and Wi-Fi.

"New Samsung tablet models GALAXY The Tab A has a new aspect ratio of 4:3, which was confirmed in a customer survey to be more suitable for most of the functions used," explains Karel Plaček, product manager for tablets at Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, adding: "In addition, the Tab A will offer new user interface and, for example, the unique Side sync 3.1 function, which enables easy synchronization of smart devices for simple work with documents and constant information updates."

Smartly Connected

New feature Smartly Connected enables the tablet to be connected to a TV equipped with the technology Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth Low Energy), You only need to pair once and both devices will then always connect automatically and can share their content with each other as desired. Viewing content from a tablet on a TV, or a TV program on a tablet, is now easier than ever. Thanks to the feature Briefing on TV users can start each morning pleasantly. When they wake up, the big TV screen shows them the current daily schedule, including the weather.

Side Sync 3.1 for first-class work efficiency

Convenient work with documents across mobile devices and PCs is ensured through Side Sync 3.1 function. The user synchronizes his phone, tablet and PC, and thanks to this, the tablet can serve as a second PC screen, for example, when more space is needed for the preview. If the tablet is connected to the smartphone, missed calls or SMS messages appear on its screen.

Ease of use is a guarantee of success

Operating system Android Lollipop is adapted to the new aspect ratio and provides intuitive and easy controls. Up to five missed events can now be displayed on the locked tablet screen. Files can be freely moved (drag & drop) around the desktop.

In addition, the version with the S-pen smart pen allows easy writing, for example, in the calendar, or highlighting important notes. When working, users will appreciate the fact that the S-pen also behaves like a mouse and thanks to it (and the function Smart Select) by holding down the button on the pen, mark multiple files at once and transfer them to the desired location, to a document, email, etc.

Digital calligraphy

The smart S-pen offers comfortable work and increased productivity that finger control can never achieve. Working with the pen is fast and accurate, especially in the area of ​​image and text editing. Text can be easily marked and individual parts can be highlighted, moved and further shared. In addition, the advanced display with sensitivity to pen pressure gives your own handwriting a new digital dimension and allows you to create even artistic calligraphic works.
