kies-logoWith arrival Galaxy With the S6, Samsung decided to remove support for the Samsung Kies software, which was used to synchronize data with the phone, from new products. However, Samsung has decided to give the phone more autonomy and therefore, when you decide to connect it to the Kies application, you will receive information that the device is not supported and you should download the newer software, Samsung Smart Switch. It is available both for computers with the system Windows or Mac and on the one hand for mobile devices Galaxy. It is available from Google Play and from the Samsung Apps store, of course for free.

The service itself will allow you to migrate data from your old phone to Galaxy S6 and even if it is about iPhone and you back it up on iCloud. We already looked at how to migrate data from iCloud to iPhone via WiFi in a separate article How to move content from iPhone to Galaxy S6. So it seems that the company will probably slowly abandon the Kies software and will probably soon fully replace it with the Smart Switch solution. Its main advantage is simplicity, as it allows you to back up all data from the phone to the computer at once and then restore them with one press of a button.
