Among them is the battery capacity, which is only 2550 mAh, and this, despite the extended charging options, is a problem for some users. Galaxy improve the S6?” and that is exactly what the portal was dealing with Cult of Android, who created a list of eight ways to do so. Of course, all the points mentioned below also apply to Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.

1) Turn off Google Cards (Google Now)

If you use on your Galaxy S6 launcher from Google, but at the same time you do not use the convenience of "Google Cards" in any way, it is worth turning them off. Even though you don't use them, they have a significant impact on battery life, and in that case turning them off is one of the best solutions to improve battery life. You can turn off Google Cards using the "Google Settings" application, more precisely in the "Search & Now" section.

2) Update your Samsung Push

The latest update to the Samsung Push notification service, as promised by Samsung, has brought improvements in terms of mobile data and battery usage. So if you haven't updated yet, now is the time to do so, your phone won't let you down, and every improvement in battery life is worth it.

A fast mobile connection is a beautiful thing, but it is not always necessary to have it at hand. Especially if the battery drains quickly, the duration of which is directly affected by using 4G, so if you have a problem with insufficient battery, turning off 4G and using 3G instead can at least partially solve your problems. 4G can be turned off in the Settings application, in the "Mobile connection" section.

4) Deactivate automatic switching between data and WiFi

Since version 4.3, v Androidu built-in "Smart network switch" feature, which automatically switches to mobile data when an unstable WiFi connection is detected. But using it again drains the battery, and if you don't use this feature and you are such an advanced user that you can switch between WiFi and data yourself, this gadget can be deactivated. How? In the WiFi settings, just use the "Advanced" button and remove the tick from the appropriate box.

5) Turn off Bluetooth

The fact that Bluetooth is a battery killer has been known for years, but even so, there are those who have a Bluetooth connection constantly active. In all seriousness, don't do it. Turn off Bluetooth unless you really need it. Turning it off and possibly turning it on doesn't take even a second, because it can be done from the quick settings panel, which appears after downloading the bar.

6) Use automatic brightness adjustment

"I have automatic brightness turned off, I prefer to keep the display as bright as possible." In that case, say goodbye to long battery life, Samsung Galaxy S6 i Galaxy The S6 edge has a super sharp display with QHD resolution, and the energy that such a display consumes at the highest brightness is not exactly the lowest. Even the manufacturer recommends leaving the automatic brightness active, after all, it is controlled using light-sensing sensors, so there is no need to worry about the brightness being at a minimum value, for example in direct sunlight.

7) Check your battery usage

Perhaps the most important thing you can do for battery life. An occasional trip to the battery settings has never killed anyone, and not only can you learn interesting things there, but you can also turn off applications that "eat" the battery in the background and you don't even know they're on the phone in the best case.

8) Use battery saving modes

When Samsung introduced its Galaxy S5, paid considerable attention at its presentation to one of the innovations of the ex-flagship, namely the ultra battery saving mode. With it, the smartphone will last another 10 hours with 24% battery, because it will set the color scheme of the phone to shades of gray, reduce the brightness and CPU performance, and let the user use only certain applications. This mode, together with the classic economy mode, is understandably also available on the current generation Galaxy With and it can be activated in the Settings app, specifically in the "Battery" category.
