If you own a Samsung Smart TV from last year's F9000 series or last year's HU series, be smart and check your account status. Samsung is releasing a brand new UHD Evolution Kit (SEK-3500U) hardware kit, thanks to which it is possible to upgrade an "old" smart TV to a TV with the Tizen operating system, while at the same time greatly increasing the performance of the TV, adding new functions and simply modernizing it. And even to the extent that, thanks to it, there will be no need to buy a new television for tens of thousands for the next few years.
SEK-3500U 2015 Evolution Kit upgrades Smart TV to Tizen OS with new redesigned Smart Hub. It has an octa-core processor, more RAM and even a new Touch Remote controller. Naturally, HDMI 2.0 ports supporting 4K video playback at 60 FPS, MHL 3.0 for connecting to mobile devices and HEVC and VP9 codecs are found on the Smart Hub. The evolution set will then be available for purchase at a price of 399 Euros (CZK 10) in the following weeks.
