Since the official release Galaxy S6 to Galaxy The S6 has been almost a month away, so it's time to focus on the next flagship of the South Korean manufacturer, which Galaxy Note 5 and the successor of last year's surprise in the form Galaxy Note Edge. And as is often the case, a lot of speculation regarding the equipment of the new product appeared on the Internet, both justified and unjustified. And among those that could be at least a bit of truth are informace of the foreign portal SamMobile, which was allegedly provided to him by a trusted source.
So what all brings first informace o Galaxy Note 5? First of all, it should be pointed out that this year, just as it was in Galaxy S6, only one variant of the device was supposed to be released, which will be sold globally. It should have a 2K or 4K Super AMOLED display and an Exynos 7422 processor. Not only is it manufactured directly by Samsung, it is also an ePoP, so one single chip includes both CPU and GPU, RAM and storage. It was the same in Galaxy Alpha, Samsung only "combined" RAM and storage with it. The company is also testing the Note 5 version with the brand new Exynos 7430 processor, but it will most likely only be used on one of the following devices.
That would be o Galaxy Note 5. But what about the successor Galaxy Note Edge, which came last year with an unprecedented curved display? So far, Samsung is reportedly calling it "Project Zen" and it shouldn't just be a special edition Galaxy Note 5, as was the Note Edge, but in many respects a different device. At least this follows from the provided specifications, which, unlike the Note 5, are not high-end in all aspects and include a 5.4/5.5″ Super AMOLED display curved on both sides of the device (i.e. like on the S6 edge), an S Pen stylus, a six-core processor Snapdragon 808, 16GB storage, 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 8MP front camera.
SamMobile's internal source has not yet revealed more, but it should be noted that there is still some time left before the release of both devices and a lot of things can change until then.
