Galaxy Note 4 batteryLast year's Samsung battery Galaxy With its 4mAh capacity, the Note 3220 might seem ideal for a phablet like the Note 4 is. And we're not saying it's not, in combination with the goodies that Samsung offers regarding battery consumption, last year's flagship can last quite a long time with reasonable use. On the other hand, here we still have a QHD display, which certainly does not save the battery, and on top of that, a powerful processor. These two factors, together with more active use, can then sustain Galaxy Note 4 really greatly reduced.

But this problem, as is often the case, can be solved. Foreign portal AndroidCentral managed to compile a list of five tips that are guaranteed to increase the battery life of your Note 4. And even if these battery troubles don't bother you, it's always a good idea to improve the life of your device. So what are these tips?

// < ![CDATA[ //1) Adjust your brightness settings

The Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2 x 560 pixels and significant brightness, as already mentioned, is one of the main reasons why the Note 1 battery drains at the rate it does. However, its influence can be greatly reduced by simply adjusting the display settings, either manually reducing the brightness or, ideally, setting the automatic brightness, which not only takes care of the appropriate brightness for you, but also saves the battery.

2) Do not turn on the display every 5 minutes

The fact that the display is on does not drain the battery. Every single lighting of the display consumes extra energy, so if you have a tendency to check every 5 minutes how much the time has changed, you should stop, you are draining the battery unnecessarily and the watch is not only surprisingly able to tell the time, but also looks good in many cases.

3) Turn off apps that use more battery than necessary

It's a fact that these days you won't find many apps on the Google Play Store that don't treat the battery sparingly, but one bad app is all it takes and your Note 4 will run out of steam after your lunch break. That's why it's a good idea to visit the "Battery" column in the Settings application from time to time, where it is described in detail which application uses the battery the most. And then it's up to you whether you hard-shut down or uninstall the amazing new game that literally eats up your battery.

4) Get a wireless charging kit

Samsung Galaxy Note 4, as opposed to new Galaxy S6, does not come with built-in wireless charging. However, the South Korean manufacturer quickly corrected this mistake and released its official Note 4 wireless charging kit, which can even be purchased in domestic stores for a price of around 1500 CZK (60 Euros). Thanks to it, the smartphone will not discharge on your desk, but quite the opposite. And why generally prefer wireless charging over the classic one? You can learn more about this in the article here.

5) Carry a spare battery with you

The Note 4 is apparently the last Samsung flagship for some time, on which it is possible to replace the battery without any problems, Galaxy The S6 is already a unibody. And there is nothing better than having a device with 10 percent fully charged in thirty seconds, just thanks to an external battery. In addition, it is not unaffordable on our market, it can be purchased for around 700 CZK (30 Euros) and is always useful as an insurance policy in the moment when the Note 4 still runs out of power at the most inopportune moment despite the automatic brightness setting and the application being turned off.
