Qualcomm Snapdragon 810It has been more than a month since the long-awaited Samsung arrived on our market Galaxy S6, and as many people have noticed, the new flagship of the South Korean company came with a huge number of innovations. Among them is the Exynos processor, which this time also made it to the European version of the device, but last year, Samsung was on Galaxy The S5 used its own Exynos only for selected markets, and a version with a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm reached the others, including the Czech Republic/SR.

This year, however, the company decided not to use a processor from Qualcomm, specifically the one from the Snapdragon 810 series, mainly because it overheats. At least that's what the tests claimed, but only now, half a year after them, has Qualcomm commented on the problem. According to him, the processors that LG and HTC implemented in their latest flagships do not overheat and all informace, which suggest so, have been called out as lies by VP of Marketing Tim McDonough. Allegedly, only the pre-production samples provided to the manufacturers, i.e. to Samsung, could have had certain problems, but the ones that got into normal circulation are said to be completely fine.

With this statement in mind, discussions began to swarm on the Internet that Samsung only took advantage of the overheating rumor and deliberately Galaxy The S6 used the Exynos 7420 SoC to reduce the popularity of smartphones from other manufacturers using the Snapdragon 810 and draw more attention to itself and its innovations. It's hard to say what the truth is, a closer look at the whole case could bring a statement from Samsung itself, if it ever issues one.
