Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8-inch

Samsung has revealed a new one today Galaxy Tab S2, which is the direct successor of last year's model, whose review you can read right here. The Tab S series is distinguished from other tablets primarily by the presence of an AMOLED display, as they are the only Samsung tablets that offer this type of display. The new product continues in the footsteps of its predecessor and is the thinnest Samsung tablet ever; its thickness is 5,6 millimeters. The tablet has a similar design treatment to the Alpha, that is, we meet with a metal frame and a plastic back cover, thanks to which the tablet has a slightly more premium feel.

However, the back of the tablet is no longer leatherette like last year's models, it is flat, but the camera sticks out of it. It has a resolution of 8 megapixels. On the back, we also see a pair of metal handles that serve to connect an external keyboard or other accessory that is compatible with this convenience. Inside we find 3GB of RAM and an Exynos 5433 processor, as well as 32/64GB of storage with the possibility of expansion via microSD with a capacity of up to 128GB. On top of that, users get 100GB of OneDrive storage and Microsoft applications, including the Office suite, for free. This is also the reason why Samsung mentions in the press release that this tablet is designed for productivity and reading. The device offers a display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, i.e. identical to the iPad. Diagonals are very similar - 8″ and 9,7″. The tablet also offers a renewed fingerprint sensor, a 2.1-megapixel front camera and batteries with a capacity of 5870 mAh (9.7″) or 4000 mAh (8″).
