Samsung-Foldable-DisplayThis year, Samsung already captivated the world with its curved displays and Galaxy The S6 edge, from which Samsung initially promised little potential, ended up accounting for half of all sales in the S6 series. Next year we could expect another big innovation and that is a folding mobile phone. At the moment, it is only a project with the name Valley (will be called due to the shape Galaxy Wallet?) and the company wants to use it to present the future of its displays, just as S Galaxy Note Edge a year ago.

According to foreign sources, Project Valley should be presented as early as January/January 2016, with the fact that it will also go on sale at the same time. But it will only be a limited edition, because the technology is still in the early stages of development, and it will be a product for technology enthusiasts rather than for ordinary consumers. Samsung is testing two hardware configurations today – they differ in the processor and while one prototype has a Snapdragon 620, the other prototype has a Snapdragon 820. Other features are more or less unchanged and we meet here with 3GB of RAM, a slot for a microSD card and a built-in battery. The high-performance chip 820 should also be used in Galaxy S7, which is also called "Project Lucky". But there is also a second variant with the domestic Exynos 8890 chip.
