That is, the display actually leaves only black pixels on, i.e. quite a small part of the screen, and combines this with low brightness, so it has a minimal impact on battery consumption. An interesting feature from Note 5, which speeds up productivity and at the same time reduces the time spent unlocking the screen, has now been ported to Galaxy Note 4, Note 3 and even on Galaxy Note Edge.
Of course, this is not an official update from Samsung, but rather the work of an initiative developer from the XDA-Developers forum, who was apparently angry that the Note 5 is not available everywhere. Of course, the developer has published the app and you can add it to your phone very easily, just download and install the APK on any of the supported phones.
