Galaxy S6 Edge_Left Front_Black SapphireSamsung Galaxy The S6 edge was a very interesting surprise. It went on sale at the same time as the classic S6, and due to the high price, Samsung didn't have high hopes for it. However, it turned out that such a novelty is of interest to people and the "edge" has completely overshadowed the original, flat S6, and we can also see it in sales and advertisements, which no longer even mention the existence of a standard model. Of course, the company intends to continue this trend and it will be like this next year Galaxy S7 again available in two revisions – classic and edge. And both could be presented already at the CES 2016 in Vegas, with the fact that they will go on sale in mid-February/February. It would be a very quick launch as it would only be 10 months after the S6, not the traditional 12 months.

The phone itself is currently referred to as Project Lucky, but there are other codenames, Hero (SM-G930) and Hero2 (SM-G935). Also interesting is the fact that Samsung is testing two different hardware revisions of the phone. While one has a quad-core Snapdragon 820 chip, the other has a homemade Exynos 8890 with the traditional 8 cores. The prototypes also differ in the operating memory and while one has 4GB of RAM, the other has 3GB exactly Galaxy S6. Finally, there are speculations about two different diagonals (5.2″ and 5.8″) and also about the presence of a dual camera, similar to the HTC One M8.
