Samsung Gear S2Samsung unveiled its very first smartwatch for 2015 earlier this month, and the company pulled off something it had been hinting at for a long time. It presented its first circular watch and thus said goodbye to the previous model with a square or rectangular display. The new Samsung Gear S2 watch is characterized by a design where a large part of the system relies on a rotating bezel around the display, with which you can move through the menu and applications for the watch in an intuitive way.

The company has now announced pricing and availability of both Gear S2 editions in the US. However, we assume that we will see similar prices and availability in our country. The basic, respectively modern Gear S2 model will cost $299, while the premium Gear S2 Classic model will cost $349, which is still an acceptable price compared to competing solutions, be it Huawei Watch (very nice by the way) a Apple Watch. The watch is also fully compatible with others Android devices, so it doesn't matter what mobile phone you have, you can connect the watch to it without any problems and you can use its full potential. The company says that the watch will go on sale in October/October, and we expect it to be in December/December at the latest. If you are also interested in the hardware, the Samsung Gear S2 has a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display, a dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of memory for storing applications and data. Wireless communication, more precisely WiFi, NFC and charging are a matter of course.
