Galaxy ViewThe future of tablets obviously lies in hybrids, and while in recent years classic tablets without any accessories have been popular, now people are starting to look for them. That is also why we have seen the announcement of large and hybrid tablets such as the iPad Pro and Google Pixel C. The third should also be closed by Samsung, which will present its tablet as the last of the three big players on the market, but announced it at the beginning of last month. The company plans to introduce a device labeled as Samsung Galaxy View and it will be a real monster. The tablet has an 18.5-inch display, so it will be larger than any mass-produced tablet released so far. In fact, it will also be larger than most laptops you will encounter in everyday life.

What was initially speculated about, he now confirmed benchmarking and we learn that Galaxy The View will indeed have an 18.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is quite a bit, considering that Samsung puts a significantly higher resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) in its phones. The tablet will therefore have a pixel density of only 120 ppi, so be sure to expect to see pixels. The benchmark further states that the heart of the monstrous tablet will be an eight-core processor from the Exynos 7 Octa family with a frequency of 1.6 GHz, 2GB of RAM and finally 32GB of storage. The surprise is that the tablet will not have a rear camera (maybe it would with such dimensions), but it will have a Full HD webcam for calling via Skype or even taking selfies.

The monster will not have an accelerometer or a gyroscope, so the display will forever be in landscape mode. It also lacks the aforementioned rear camera and NFC. But it goes without saying that it supports WiFi, GPS for location determination (in applications such as Weather) and it looks like you won't even find a SIM card in it. So it will be more of a tablet that will be used by companies as a presentation display or will be used to work with graphics. Although it would be better to have a higher resolution there.
