Prague, October 5, 2015 – Supporters of wearable devices in the Czech Republic have another option to make themselves happy. Samsung launches new smart watch Gear S2 in an elegant and sporty version. Both models stand out with a powerful processor and operating system, a long-lasting battery and the possibility of wireless charging, as well as a high-resolution display. Thanks to a wide range of applications and accessories, the watch can be adapted to personal needs and tastes. Samsung Gear S2 will be available on the Czech market in the sports version for CZK 8 with DPH av the elegant classic version for CZK 9 with DPH, in the first half of November.
The face of the Samsung Gear S2 watch is 11,4 mm thin. Applications specially adapted for the circular interface are clearly visible on the 1,2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 x 360 (302 ppi), so that the user does not miss any notifications. Smooth performance is ensured by the Tizen operating system, an optimized 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM memory. To charge the watch, simply place it on the included wireless docking station. Standard battery life is 2-3 days.
Easy access to many applications
The Samsung Gear S2 is controlled using a rotating bezel and Home and Back buttons. Users have easy access to notifications and apps, and are always connected to their calendar, contacts, email and messages. They can even send short text messages directly through the watch.
The new fitness functions of the Samsung Gear S2 watch help users to maintain a good physical condition. Thanks to a 24-hour recording of daily activities and motivational reminders, watch owners have a constant overview of their activities. Another useful function is the NFC technology, which allows you to pay in the store through the watch. They can also be used as smart car or house keys or as remote controls for Smart homes.
Elegant and sporty design
With two variants of the watch (Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic), Samsung appeals to different groups of users. They will be available on the Czech market in the first half of November 2015. The Samsung Gear S2 sports watch will be sold in a dark gray version with a dark gray strap, or in a silver version with a white strap for CZK 8 including VAT. The elegant version of the Samsung Gear S999 classic will be available in black with a leather strap for 2 CZK including VAT. In cooperation with partners, Samsung will also offer other variants of straps as accessories.
