ExynosSamsung is about to move forward with its processors by introducing the most powerful mobile processor in the world. It will even be more powerful than the record holder of the last months, the Exynos 7420 processor. It is even more powerful than the competing novelty Apple A9, which debuted in iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Interestingly, it had a benchmark score of 4330 in the multi-core test and 2487 points in the single-core test. The Samsung Exynos 7420 outperformed the A9 only in the multi-core test, where it scored 4970 points, while in the single-core test it had only 1486 points.

The Mongoose processor, also known as the Exynos M1 Mongoose, operates at a frequency of 2.3 GHz and achieved a total score of 6908 points in the multi-core test and 2294 points in the single-core test. It is a processor that is designed directly by Samsung to be powerful and at the same time efficient in terms of battery life. It is also reflected in reduced performance in various energy-saving modes. In the classic economy mode, performance drops to 4896 points in the multi-core test and 1710 in the single-core test. Finally, there is the Ultra Power Saving Mode, in which the performance is reduced even more and the benchmark shows numbers of 3209 points and 1100 points.
