TidalSamsung has been breaking into the market with its own streaming service for a long time and, for example, it now has the Milk Music service in circulation. But it is not excluded that it will own another service in the future. As it seems, the Samsung representatives responsible for the development of Milk Music were supposed to meet with Jay-Z at the company's headquarters in Silicon Valley earlier this week. And since Jay-Z owns Tidal, there's probably no need to speculate what might have been discussed during their meeting. The streaming service itself differs from others mainly in that it offers people the opportunity to listen to songs in audiophile, lossless quality, which will affect data consumption, but if you are an audiophile, you will prefer this kind of quality over 256kbps MP3 or MP4.

In addition to the fact that the streaming service is owned by Jay-Z, the American rapper is also one of several partners and advertising mascots of Samsung, so the relations between him and the company are very good. If the service were to be bought by Samsung, it could have a positive effect on the expansion of the service in the world. The service itself, despite the attractive content, has a problem establishing itself as the best solution on the market and is overtaken by competing services Apple Music (soon also on Androide) and Spotify. Neither Jay-Z nor the director in charge, Daren Tsui, have shared any information with the media.
