Samsung logoCheap labor in China is what virtually all major companies use to keep up with the production of millions of pieces of equipment every month. But such a workforce also has its own problems, such as unpaid overtime or even publicized worker suicides, after which various measures began to be taken and American companies began to take care of improving conditions in factories. However, Samsung is no longer interested in using cheap labor and instead wants the company to save even more.

Newly, it plans to invest approximately 14,8 million dollars in robots that will manufacture new products directly in Korea, which will save Samsung both the hands of Chinese workers and the cost of importing products from China to South Korea. The transition from Chinese factories to Korea is of course not an easy matter and the project is expected to be completed only in 2018. However, not only Samsung is interested in the project, but also the Korean government, since it was from them that Samsung received the money to implement the project. Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy expects that once cheaper robots are in circulation, it could lead to the creation of smart factories, one of the biggest innovations in mass production since the creation of the factory.
