Samsung-Unveils-Exynos-5250-Dual-Core-Application-ProcessorNews from the Far East is now starting to focus more and more on the launch of Samsung's next flagship. The Korean manufacturer should introduce Galaxy S7 already at the very beginning of next year, and that is why preparations are now starting to be made for the production of the individual components that we will see in it. Most recently, it is preparing to start mass production of Exynos 8890 processors, which will not only be the heart of the models Galaxy S7 to Galaxy S7 Plus, but at the same time they should be strong competition for competing chips Apple A9X and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.

Precisely in order to make the processor the most powerful on the market and at the same time not have any problems, Samsung in the past weeks tuned several aspects of it, which affect not only its performance, but also its consumption. With this processor, it is more important, since it is the very first processor whose cores were designed directly by Samsung itself and did not use technologies from ARM. Additionally, there is a possibility that the Exynos 8890 will be the only processor we see in the Galaxy S7. Initially, the company wanted to offer a version with a Snapdragon 820 processor, but apparently it will not do so, because it has problems with overheating almost as much as with Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. In the end, there is a chance that Samsung will once again only use its own processors, which it will start producing already in December at the factory in Giheung. The phone should then be introduced in January/January 2016. The chip uses 14nm technology and M1/Mongoose cores.
