gear_fit_blackIt's been over a year since Samsung entered the fitness tracker market with its aggressive offering, which was the Gear Fit tracker. It's a simple one wearable device with a curved display, which makes it one of a kind and represents the year 2015 (even though it was released a year ago). Anyway, even if the tracker is still on sale today, it is sold at a relatively high price, starting at €95 in our area. The price tag isn't exactly attractive, but the next generation could potentially change that, as Samsung plans to launch the cheapest fitness tracker in its history so far.

The accessory carries the model designation SM-R150, which is two orders below the Gear Fit, thanks to which we can expect it to be a very simple accessory and if it has a display, there is little chance of it being bent. In terms of functionality, it could be very similar to the $15 Xiaomi Mi Band, and there's even a possibility that it won't even offer a heart rate sensor. On the other hand, because it's officially called the Triathlon, it could indicate that the tracker will be waterproof, offer a pedometer, and possibly work as a tracker for cyclists, who will probably appreciate it. In addition, we can expect compatibility with Androidom as such, since Samsung released its S Health and Gear Manager apps for other phones as well.
