Samsung logoSamsung Electronics hasn't had it very kosher in recent years when it comes to profits. In fact, it can be said that cell phone sales have started to decline regularly due to larger iPhones and cheaper devices from Chinese manufacturers. That's why Samsung began to focus more on the production of processors and other chips for other manufacturers, thus maintaining stable revenues and even reported a profit last quarter for the first time in two years. However, analysts expect the company to have problems on this front as well.

They predict that Samsung will report an operating profit of $5,1 billion, which is $800 million less than originally expected. The lower profit is said to be due to a significant drop in sales of semiconductors for other manufacturers, which include Apple. Several agencies have doubts, one of them is even Samsung Securities, which is a division focused on investment activity. Other Korean agencies with doubts then include Mirae Asset Securities and Kyobo Securities, as well as several others.
