We have a very good experience with the Samsung Gear S2 watch in the editorial office, and when we had the opportunity to compare it with Apple Watch, we were surprised to find that Samsung watches are faster and offer a clearer environment. What we don't know is how popular they are, as we haven't seen any numbers to date, and the last time Samsung announced financial results, it didn't mention Gear sales at all. On the other hand, they can do better, also thanks to the support of phones with Androidom (not only from Samsung) and could soon gain popularity among iPhone owners as well.
Although at the moment it is not entirely clear when the application designed for pairing the Gear S2 with an iPhone will reach the App Store, it is already becoming clear that future owners will have several models to choose from. According to the latest speculation, the company plans to soon introduce two new color versions of the Gear S2 Sport, namely Platinum and Rose Gold, while the latter could match the recently introduced iPhone 6s, which is sold in this color (and they are also sold in Apple Watch). The advantage is that Samsung offers a watch with a better system and better materials for the same price Apple only sells a basic version of the watch made of aluminum and glass, which makes it act like a toy.
