Dolby AtmosThe CES 2016 trade fair starts today and according to the first information, Samsung plans to present a revolutionary soundbar at this trade fair, so far known under the designation HW-K950 Soundbar, which is not exactly an attractive name. However, the soundbar features Dolby Atmos technology, which has been a hit with many major studios and is starting to spread in the world of audio technology at the same pace as Surround, which is no reason not to love it.

The soundbar itself is unique not only in that it is the first soundbar from Samsung to support Dolby Atmos, but it is also the very first soundbar in the world to come with a pair of wireless rear speakers powered by the same technology. The result is 5.1.4-channel sound, while the height of the soundbar itself is only 5 cm. It has three speakers directed directly at the viewer and two directed upwards, thanks to which this soundbar should offer realistic sound. You can also wirelessly connect it to a subwoofer and a pair of rear speakers, thanks to which you can turn the soundbar into a home theater. The price and availability will be announced later, but we are already incredibly curious about the result and especially the sound quality!
