And exactly this situation just happened, Polish portal android.com.pl came up with the information according to which it will be Galaxy S7 include an iris scanner, while the Wall Street Journal reported the same discovery relatively recently.
Because of the iris scanner, according to the mentioned rumor, it should be Galaxy S7 slightly more expensive than its predecessor, while it should be present in all its variants. However, if this report is true, the fate of the fingerprint sensor used so far seems unclear, because with the iris scanner, fingerprints would somehow be meaningless, whether for unlocking or for online payment. On the other hand, similar speculations involving an iris scanner have been occurring regularly since ages Galaxy S5 and in the end it always turned out to be a lie, so until the South Korean manufacturer officially presents the device, we are left with the question - will Samsung finally implement an iris scanner in its flagship or will speculation remain speculation?
