Iron Maiden heavy metal fans, fire up your smartphones. And now we don't mean in connection with the upcoming concert of the legendary band, where we rather recommend keeping them switched off and in your pocket, but in connection with the release of their own game. The band, who released their new album The Book of Souls at the beginning of September, have teamed up with developers Roadhouse Interactive and 50cc Games to release their new game, Legacy of the Beast.
In it, the player will be put in the role of Eddie, the band's famous mascot, while traveling through time and fighting various characters that have appeared on Iron Maiden albums throughout their discography. As for the genre, it should be a game with RPG elements, so Eddie will be able to be improved in various ways. Unsurprisingly, the soundtrack will then consist of selected pieces from the band's entire forty-year existence, but we should also expect several unreleased live recordings. Legacy of the Beast will be available for download starting this summer, completely free of charge from the Google Play Store.
