Some time ago, Samsung showed off a new 10-nanometer processor technology, now it showed off another piece.
Previously, at the Samsung Foundry Forum, the company presented its fourth generation of 14 nm technology under the name 14LPU. According to Sammy, the new processor will offer far higher performance than the third-generation 14LPC, without increasing power consumption. Samsung also introduced the 10LPU, which is its third generation 10 nanometer processor. The 10LPU offers a more impressive and versatile design than the second version, the 10LPP, which is perfectly suited for small devices.
In the second half of next year, i.e. 2017, 14LPC and 10LPU processors will reach users. According to Samsung, there will be a revolutionary breakthrough in the field of mobile chips, because they will offer brutal performance.
