Users who have already returned a botched Note 7 now face a much bigger problem than the possibility of the device exploding. It is their personal data that is now in Samsung's hands.

About three million Note 7 owners had to immediately stop using the device due to the regulation by Samsung and the government itself. Some used the phone so often that they transferred very sensitive data to it in the form of credit card numbers, etc. However, apparently they did not have enough time to wipe the data properly, so the Korean company now has it in their hands.

However, people had a heart attack when Samsung did not intend to reveal how it will deal with returned models and what it actually intends to do with personal data. According to our information, the manufacturer is considering the possibility of ecological disposal, after Greenpeace asked it to find a way to reuse rare materials from phones - gold, tungsten and others.

Samsung sold about 3,06 million potentially overheating Note 7 phablets, then told customers to stop using them and return them to the store for another device or money. So far, about 2,5 million units have been returned to the manufacturer.
