WhatsApp has decided to enter the competitive fray with Applewith his FaceTime service. This is proven by the new update, which offers video calls with so-called end-to-end encryption. The company itself also commented on the whole situation, with the help of a press release, where it indirectly took a dig at the expensive "iPhones".

"We introduced this feature for one simple reason. We are well aware that voice and text messages are often not enough. Until now, there was no other way to follow your grandchild's first steps using the Internet. We want these features to be available to all users, not just those with the most expensive phones.”

You can make a video call very easily. Go to the app, open the chat window, tap the phone icon located in the top right, and then select the video call option. Next, you'll be able to choose where the video thumbnail will be placed on the screen, switch between the rear and front cameras, and more.
