The Tapito mobile news application allows you to read news from the entire Czech Internet conveniently in one place and at the same time displays articles with photos directly on the phone's lock screen. Every day, the application goes through a total of 1 open online sources, which include news portals, magazines, blogs, and YouTube channels. It then selects and analyzes six thousand articles from them, assigns keywords to them, and sorts them into 100 categories and more than 22 subcategories for you. Tap the dog guides you through the application, which is very user-friendly and has clear and modern graphics. Every day it will bring you only the messages you really want.
The new version, which was launched in mid-June, also brings a lot of interesting news. It is a smart application that uses an algorithm to evaluate your priorities in detail and prepare a selection of articles tailored just for you. Articles are displayed based on your real interest, according to your preferences, readership, sharing on social networks, etc. The application can also select articles that might overlap in content, thus avoiding duplicates. "If several media outlets write about the same topic, only the article that is more successful in terms of the number of shares, comments and likes will be displayed. The other articles will then be offered below the text of the article in the section 'They also wrote about it'," says Tomáš Malíř from TapMedia, which operates the application. In addition to an overview of articles from selected categories, Tapito also offers the function of saving articles "so-called in stock" and their subsequent display in offline mode or the unique function of displaying articles on the phone's lock screen.
Most users, up to 95%, subscribe to news in the application. Sports, cars and technology continue to lead among men, while lifestyle, show business, travel and recipes lead among women. Tapito originally only worked on the platform Android, but a pro version is also available from the beginning of September iOS. Tapito has already been named the best app in the Newspapers and Magazines category on Google Play several times. The application can be used on smartphones, tablets and now also on PCs. “Our mission is to make it easier for users to find the content they want to read.
