About two weeks ago, we wrote an article about the new fingerprint reader, which Samsung will manufacture entirely on its own. According to the South Korean investor, Samsung is considering asking local suppliers to participate in the production of these scanners.
One of the companies claims that it has already been contacted by the Korean company and they have agreed to cooperate. If they are ours informace true, Samsung could find a way to actually mix its inventory of fingerprint sensors that it manufactures and that is supplied by other companies. For Samsung, this would mean a wider segment and also lower financial costs.
