Any of you who wanted a Jet Black version of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now out of luck. The last pieces were sold out worldwide and Apple trying to catch up now. Until then, however, you can try something else, often better. Such Samsung is now planning to release its own glossy black version Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. All people's eyes are now fixed on only two major giants – Samsung and Apple.

But we at SamsungMagazine approach it a little differently and started thinking, aren't there other options for Jet Black? Of course they are. So in case you're not quite so keen on iPhone 7 Plus or new Galaxy S7 Edge, we have great alternatives for you to buy.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Onyx Black

Samsung already has a glossy black S7 edge. And if we know that the new model will contain exactly the same hardware inside the device. So why wait for a glossier (and blacker?) version when you can buy the Onyx Black version of Samsung's flagship right now? You get the same peak performance, the same reliability and the same longevity, just a month earlier.

Let's say that Samsung already has a glossy model in its portfolio. And as far as we know, the new model will feature the exact same hardware as the current version. So why wait for a shinier (blacker?) phone when you can buy the S7 Edge in Onyx now? You get the same top performance, the same reliability and the same longevity, just a month earlier.

Not to mention that Onyx Black has nicer sides that really make the phone pop black and give the device some depth.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Black Sapphire

Samsung's 2015 flagship still has a lot to offer. It still features the double-edged design we know and just love. And yet it hides a very decent performance and can easily cope with today's TOP models. However, its Black Sapphire version really stands out, thanks to the bluish tint, which gives a really great experience. And while it's not technically black, we decided it was dark enough to make our list.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium

If you want to make an even more polished impression on those around you, you might be impressed by the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. This is a really beautiful phone with a simple and elegant design. The Xperia Z5 Premium was the first ever smartphone to offer a 4K display. It also has pretty decent battery life, and that's where it ends. We are not at all satisfied with the performance of the camera and would prefer a Chinese manufacturer.

Huawei Honor 8

What one thing do all the phones presented so far have in common? One camera. So if you're looking for a device with Jet Black color and you're not happy with a boring one camera, get ready for two cameras! Huawei really tried in this case. The company decided to bet on a classic, now well-known design - rounded and metal frames and glass construction. It looks quite elegant, doesn't it?

Xiaomi Mi 5

The new Xiaomi Mi 5 could be your choice, because it offers precise workshop processing, and for relatively decent money. Even though it is at a small price, it offers great performance, at the same level Galaxy S7. Fairly good camera and sufficient battery capacity, so it lasts all day on one charge.
