It wasn't that long ago that Samsung introduced a special program in Australia where it "forced" Note 7 owners to return the device. Now the same program will take place in Canada, but if the phone is not returned, Samsung will turn it into a non-functioning brick.

According to our information, the Korean manufacturer managed to get back 90% of Note 7 models, but not all customers want to return it. The manufacturer puts pressure on the owner by saying that if they don't return the phone by the end of the year, they will turn the phone into a paperweight. Users are already deprived of 40% of battery capacity, and from December 12, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will also come.

Additionally, starting December 15th, Canadian customers will not be able to make voice calls, use mobile data or send data. So if you don't want to make a paperweight out of your exploding pet, we recommend you return it as soon as possible, because the program is expanding to Europe!
