Samsung is about to launch a brand new app that will make it possible to pay by phone. The application is called Samsung Pay Mini and we can expect it already in January 2017. It will be available both on Android, as well as competitively iOS. But with Applem it will be a little more difficult for Samsung because it has rejected the application for the App Store for the time being.

According to ETNews, Apple rejected a request for a new Samsung Pay Mini app for its App Store. The reasons are still unknown to us. However, we can say with certainty that the Cupertino company will want to hold on as long as possible Apple Pay as the absolute number one, at least as far as mobile payments are concerned iOS concerns. Since Samsung Pay Mini only focuses on online payments, unlike Apple Pay, which has the task of replacing physical cards, is very likely to Apple it will not want to let its biggest competitor into its sandbox (into its ecosystem).

For now, Samsung will not file a second application to register its app for iOS, will only target devices with the system Android, which, among other things, was confirmed by the company's representative.

"After Apple refused our registration of Samsung Pay Mini for its App Store, we decided to focus only on smartphones with the system Android. "

New application from Samsung on Android will arrive next month. It will be the first ever step by the South Korean company to extend support for the payment terminal to other phones as well.
