The popular notepad Evernote may now become a little less popular. The company intends to prepare major changes that will concern the protection of personal data. The novelty is supposed to hit the market already on January 23, 2017, and employees will be able to view the notes of those who use the service.

Evernot said it will allow some of its employees to "have oversight of machine learning across all technologies." He also added that the number of these selected employees is "minimum", so there is no reason to mention it.

“While our computer systems do a good job, sometimes it's just unavoidable that a human hand oversees everything. We want everything to work exactly as it should…” said Evernote.

Fortunately, Evernote “gives” its customers the option to opt out of this machine learning option or not. However, this still does not mean that their notes cannot be read by one of the employees. But with this step, the company violates our privacy policy.
