We have received very exclusive information regarding the processor of the new one Galaxy S8. The report comes all the way from China, and apparently we can look forward to three variants of the Exynos 8895 chip. All three variants will be manufactured with 10-nanometer technology, by FinFET. These are octa-core processors that combine four Exynos M2 cores clocked at 2,5 GHz and four Cortex A53 chip cores clocked at 1,7 GHz.

In addition, Samsung will use ARM technology, Mali-G71, for graphics processing. This is a highly adaptable model that will be available in several different variants. It follows that the Exynos 8895M will offer 20 cores, while the Exynos 8895V only has 18 cores.

Fortunately, both chipsets support fast UFS 2.1, LPDDR4 RAM and integrated Cat.16 LTE modems. In the second half of 2017, the Korean manufacturer could introduce the third Exynos 8895 with an updated 359 modem, which will be compatible with CDMA networks.
