Galaxy The S8 should be powered by two different processors, a move Samsung has made with just about every high-end smartphone. The chips should offer really strong performance, which is proven by some leaked photos. In addition, Galaxy The S8 will have a special Beast Mode technology, thanks to which the user will have more than enough power. Now a new report reveals the maximum capabilities of one of these mobile processors.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 will be the heart of the new Galaxy The S8, which will be shipped across Europe. The second model will offer Exynos processors, but only in the US. However, the first-named will only be launched on the market this week, on the occasion of CES 2017. However, some data from the presentation that reveal the functions of the chip have reached the web.

The Snapdragon 835 SoC (System-on-Chip) will be built on 10nm production technology. Thanks to this, it will offer up to 27 percent more performance than the current 820. The chip is of course very energy efficient and has much smaller dimensions. The processor has eight cores, including the power of a quad-core cluster, which will give users a 20 percent performance boost if needed.

The SoC itself will use the Kryo 280 CP, the Adreno 640 GPU will then support 60 times more colors and offer 25 percent faster rendering. Thus, mobile game players will have more than enough power. Other advantages include, for example, support for 10-bit 4K 60fps video playback, as well as support for OpenGL ES, Vulkan, and DirectX 12.

The Snapdragon 835 will offer Quick Charge technology, which charges the battery 20 percent faster than before - you get 15 percent of the battery in 50 minutes. The chip will also be the first ever mobile processor to have a built-in gigabit LTE modem.
